“ Elmwood zoo is going through major construction. Despite the renovations being done, my 4 and 7 year old always enjoy themselves here at the zoo. No complaints about the food, snacks or adult beverages. There is a shuttle that can take you from the parking lot to your car, and from the zoo exit back to your car. It’s nice to have cash on you when you visit( one’s, maybe ten bucks or so) to donate to the many vendors on duty, band/ painters/ certain animal causes, donation bin/ centers, etc. The kids always have fun at the playground, and the animals are always alert and may pop up for a selfie. ”
